  • PSM B1620 Advanced Quantitative Methods at The City College of New York (Spring 2022)

This is the second part of a two-part sequence on quantitative methods, and it is aimed at providing students with an introduction to research design and causality analysis. The course is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on research design and exploratory data analysis, building upon the contents of the previous course. The second part of the course is focused on identification and the basic framework of causal analysis. Lastly, the third part of the course provides the student with a survey of the different statistical designs employed to answer causal questions. The course will provide an introduction to the use of statistical software such as STATA.


  • ECO 33150 Introduction to Econometrics at The City College of New York (Fall 2018-present).

To introduce students to the fundamentals of econometric models and techniques. The course includes critical evaluation of economic modelling, econometric methods, examples of empirical economic research and exercises in applied econometrics. Emphasizes applications to economics, finance and business.


  • Intermediate Macroeconomics II at Facultad de Economía, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Spring 2017).

To provide the student with the fundamental modern analytical tools for the macroeconomic analysis of a developing open economy. The course will follow a New Keynesian approach to the topics, albeit in the last section models of Kaleckian and Structuralist tradition will be discussed.
